Directed by Werner Herzog, Grizzly Man explores the life of Timothy Treadwell, who spent thirteen summers living among grizzly bears in the Alaskan wilderness. Using extensive footage shot by Treadwell himself alongside interviews and Herzogs narration, the documentary examines his extraordinary relationship with wild nature and the events that led to his death in 2003. The film won the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
