Based on Yuji Kakus manga, Hells Paradise follows condemned ninja Gabimaru, who is offered a chance at freedom if he can retrieve the legendary Elixir of Life from a mysterious island. Accompanied by executioner Sagiri, he joins other death-row criminals and their guards in an expedition where monstrous creatures, rival killers and increasingly disturbing supernatural forces await them. Produced by MAPPA, the anime combines violent ninja action, dark fantasy and horror in a deadly search for immortality.
