Hobo with a Shotgun (2011) is a hyper-violent exploitation horror film inspired by grindhouse aesthetics. Directed by Jason Eisener, the film stars Rutger Hauer as a homeless vigilante who unleashes brutal justice on a city overrun by sadistic criminals. Embracing outrageous gore, dark humor, and retro excess, the film functions as an explicit homage to drive-in exploitation cinema.
