Gerard Johnstones Housebound is a clever blend of comedy and horror about a troubled young woman placed under house arrest in her mothers creaky home only to discover the house may be haunted. With sharp writing, eerie atmosphere, and a playful twist on haunted house tropes, it has become a cult favorite of modern New Zealand horror-comedy
