Directed by Sunao Katabuchi, In This Corner of the World is a Japanese anime film based on the manga by Fumiyo Kōno. Non voices Suzu, a young woman whose everyday life in Hiroshima and Kure is reshaped by marriage, wartime hardship and the final years of World War II. The film combines animated drama, historical wartime setting and intimate slice-of-life storytelling.
