Directed by Sam Newfield, Lady in the Fog stars Cesar Romero as American journalist Philip ODell, who becomes involved in a murder investigation after meeting a woman convinced that her brothers fatal hit-and-run was no accident. Lois Maxwell and Bernadette OFarrell co-star in this early Hammer mystery, set against fogbound London streets, nightclubs and a growing trail of suspects. The film combines classic crime mystery, amateur investigation and noir-influenced atmosphere.
