Directed by Robert Hall, Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 continues the story of the masked killer Chromeskull in a graphic slasher horror built around brutal murders, practical gore effects and stylized violence. Starring Brian Austin Green, Thomas Dekker and Danielle Harris, the film expands the mythology surrounding the killer while maintaining the exploitation-driven tone and modern slasher structure of the original film. The film is strongly associated with independent extreme horror and contemporary cult slasher cinema.
