Directed by Jeff Burr, Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III follows a young couple who become stranded in rural Texas and encounter Leatherface and his murderous family. Kate Hodge and Ken Foree lead the cast, with R.A. Mihailoff as Leatherface and an early role for Viggo Mortensen. The film was New Line Cinemas attempt to continue the franchise with Leatherface placed more firmly at its center.
