Directed by Richard Franklin (Psycho II), Link (1986) is a British horror-thriller where a psychology student (Elisabeth Shue) takes a job in a remote country house, only to discover the professors chimpanzee, Link, is dangerously intelligent and homicidal. Mixing animal horror with suspense and gothic atmosphere, the film has become a cult oddity in British horror history.
