Directed by Gerard Johnstone and produced by James Wan and Jason Blum, M3GAN stars Allison Williams as Gemma, a robotics engineer who becomes guardian to her niece Cady, played by Violet McGraw. Amie Donald performs M3GAN, with Jenna Davis providing the voice, in a techno-horror film about a lifelike A.I. doll designed to protect and emotionally support a child. The film combines killer-doll horror, artificial intelligence, parenting anxiety, automation and darkly comic tech-suspense, and launched the M3GAN franchise.
