James Wans Malignant (2021) blends psychological horror and slasher traditions in a twisted tale of visions, serial murders, and a shocking body-horror reveal. Starring Annabelle Wallis, the film follows a woman haunted by gruesome killings that turn out to be connected to her own fractured past. With its mix of surreal paranoia, giallo-style murder set pieces, and cult reputation, it stands as one of Wans most unique horror experiments.
