Directed by Enzo Barboni, Man of the East (1972) stars Terence Hill as an aristocratic young man from Boston who travels to the American frontier to learn the ways of the Old West after his fathers death. Blending western comedy, frontier adventure and culture-clash humor, the film became one of Hills most recognizable solo westerns outside his collaborations with Bud Spencer. The film combines slapstick bar fights, gunslingers and classic spaghetti western iconography with a lighter comedic tone.
