Adam Elliots Memoir of a Snail (2024) is a deeply emotional stop-motion tragicomedy tracing the life of Grace Pudel, a lonely misfit whose love for snails and books masks a painful journey through grief, separation, and identity. The film gracefully balances humor and melancholy as Graces bond with her twin brother and an eccentric elderly friend shapes her fate. With haunting visuals and a mature voice cast including Sarah Snook and Eric Bana, its a quietly profound adult animation.
