Mikey (1992), directed by Dennis Dimster and starring Brian Bonsall and Ashley Laurence, is a psychological horror thriller about a seemingly innocent orphan boy who harbours violent, murderous impulses. The film blends suburban dread, child killer horror and early 90s suspense, making it one of the controversial killer child entries of its era.

Mikey (Brian Bonsall - Family Ties) has been a bad boy, only nobody knows exactly how bad. Tragic and deadly accidents seem to happen all around Mikey. So, from foster family to foster family and from school to school he goes, leaving a trail of unanswered questions. Of course, everyone knows Mikey is just a sweet, misunderstood little boy. But remember...Jason and Freddie were once kids too! Co-starring Ashley Laurence (Hellraiser), Mimi Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street), MIKEY presents us a whole new breed of slasher!

Making its official UK home video debut since the controversial refusal of a BBFC certificate back in 1996, Mikey is presented fully uncut in a brand new 4K restoration from the original negative with a wealth of brand new and archival bonus materials which makes this release a definitive and much-treasured special edition.
