Motherland (2016 2022)

Motherland follows a group of middle-class parents navigating school politics, childcare challenges, and the social pressures of modern family life. The series blends situational comedy with character-driven storytelling, highlighting the tensions between personal ambition, domestic responsibility, and competitive parenting networks. Its narrative uses ensemble dynamics and everyday crises to explore friendship, frustration, and the hidden labor of raising children.

Från IMDB:
This is a programme about navigating the trials and traumas of middle-class motherhood. It looks at the competitive side and unromantic take on parenting--not the cute, acceptable face of motherhood.
