Created by Sam Esmail, Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek as cybersecurity engineer Elliot Alderson, who becomes involved with a hacker group targeting the powerful corporation E Corp. Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin and Swedish actor Martin Wallström co-star in a psychological tech thriller combining hacking, corporate power, conspiracy and questions of identity and reality. The series won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series Drama, while Malek won the 2016 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
