Produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation, Mulan follows a young woman who disguises herself as a soldier in order to protect her father during an invasion threatening imperial China. Featuring the voices of Ming-Na Wen and Eddie Murphy, the film combines animated adventure, comedy and musical storytelling with Chinese folklore and large-scale battle sequences. The story blends family drama, war-time heroism and fantasy-inspired Disney animation within one of the studios best-known animated productions of the 1990s.
