After a home invasion disrupts his quiet life, buried instincts resurface, leading to escalating confrontations with organized crime. Blending tightly choreographed action with dark humor, the film reinvents the revenge-thriller formula through an unlikely protagonist. The film became a commercial success and established Odenkirk in a leading action role.
