Directed by Robert Eggers, Nosferatu (2024) reimagines the silent-era horror classic in a dark, gothic style. Starring Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok alongside Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult, the film retells the tale of a mysterious vampire whose obsession with a young woman brings terror to a small European town. Known for his meticulous period detail and atmospheric storytelling, Eggers presents a visually austere and psychologically intense interpretation of the iconic vampire myth. The film continues the legacy of one of cinemas earliest horror landmarks.
