Directed by Baku Kinoshita, Odd Taxi follows Odokawa, a solitary taxi driver whose passengers include a nurse, a struggling comedian, an aspiring idol, a corrupt police officer and figures from Tokyos criminal underworld. Their seemingly separate stories gradually connect to the disappearance of a young woman, drawing Odokawa into a web of blackmail, organised crime and hidden identities. Produced by P.I.C.S. and OLM, the anime combines crime mystery, psychological suspense and dry comedy through thirteen interconnected episodes.
