One Piece: Dead End Adventure (2003)
Directed by Kônosuke Uda, Dead End Adventure follows the Straw Hat Pirates as they enter a dangerous outlaw-only boat race that hides criminal conspiracies and a former Marine captain seeking revenge. The film blends high-speed seafaring action with rich character moments, expanding the early Grand Line atmosphere through vibrant new locations and classic One Piece humor. Its larger-scale battles and stylish animation made it a standout theatrical entry of the pre Water Seven era.

One Piece: The Cursed Holy Sword (2004)
Directed by Kazuhisa Takenouchi, The Cursed Holy Sword centers on Zoro as he becomes entangled in a plot involving a powerful legendary blade and a Marine faction pursuing forbidden magic. The film blends samurai-inspired combat with supernatural elements, exploring loyalty, manipulation, and Zoros internal struggles. With sword-focused choreography and a darker tone, it stands as one of the series most character-driven movie adventures.

One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island (2005)
Directed by Mamoru Hosoda, Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island takes the Straw Hats to a remote resort whose cheerful façade hides a psychologically unsettling mystery. The film blends stylized animation with a much darker emotional undercurrent, exploring grief, isolation, and the fragility of friendship under pressure. Its unique visual design and mature themes make it one of the boldest and most acclaimed One Piece films.
