A group of teenagers discover an antique Ouija board and accidentally awaken a dark spirit tied to their friends death. What begins as a game quickly spirals into possession, haunting, and a fight for survival against malevolent forces. Leaning on teen horror, haunted-house atmosphere, and occult rituals, this supernatural thriller kicked off the Ouija franchise.

Set in 1967 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her daughters run a fake séance business until they introduce a Ouija board to their act accidentally inviting a dark spirit into their home. As possession and terror escalate, the youngest daughter becomes the vessel for evil. This atmospheric prequel combines possession horror, Gothic haunted-house chills, and occult rituals with Mike Flanagans signature psychological tension.
