Directed by Tod Williams, Paranormal Activity 2 expands the found footage horror franchise through security-camera recordings and supernatural events affecting a suburban family. Set before and during the events of the original film, the story follows escalating paranormal disturbances connected to a demonic presence inside the household. The film combines surveillance-style horror, domestic haunting and psychological tension within the established Paranormal Activity mythology.
