Directed by Harry Lighton and based on Adam Mars-Jones book Box Hill, Pillion stars Harry Melling as Colin, a shy young man whose life changes when he enters a dominant-submissive relationship with charismatic biker Ray, played by Alexander Skarsgård. The film explores desire, identity, masculinity and the balance of power within their unconventional romance, mixing emotional drama with dry humor. Pillion won Best Screenplay in Un Certain Regard at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
