Produced by Walt Disney Productions, Pinocchio follows a wooden puppet brought to life who embarks on a dangerous journey to become a real boy. Featuring Jiminy Cricket and some of Disneys most recognizable animated sequences, the film combines fantasy adventure, musical storytelling and morality-driven coming-of-age themes through a series of encounters with con artists, temptation and transformation. Pinocchio won Academy Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for When You Wish Upon a Star.
