Porkys (1981)
Directed by Bob Clark, Porkys follows a group of Florida high-school friends whose search for mischief leads them to a notorious backwoods nightclub run by the intimidating Porky. The film blends coming-of-age antics with bawdy comedy, capturing the social dynamics, insecurities, and chaotic humor of teenage life in the early 1960s. Its mix of ensemble storytelling, youthful energy, and irreverent tone made it one of the defining teen comedies of its era.

Porkys II: The Next Day (1983)
Directed again by Bob Clark, Porkys II: The Next Day continues the story as the students face moral crusaders and local authorities after organizing a school variety show. The film shifts its focus toward satire, blending broad humor with commentary on censorship, prejudice, and small-town politics. Its combination of comedic set pieces and light social critique gives the sequel a distinct identity within the series.
