Andrzej Żuławskis Possession (1981) is an intense psychological and supernatural horror film where a crumbling marriage in Cold War Berlin spirals into madness, obsession, and monstrous creation. Isabelle Adjanis legendary performance anchors this feverish blend of body horror, erotic dread, and existential breakdown a defining work of arthouse horror and transgressive cinema.

A woman starts exhibiting increasingly disturbing behaviour after asking her husband for a divorce. Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something far more sinister.
