Directed by Damiano Michieletto and based on Tiziano Scarpas book Stabat Mater, Primavera stars Tecla Insolia as Cecilia, a gifted young violinist living at Venices Ospedale della Pietà in the early 18th century. Her life changes with the arrival of Antonio Vivaldi, played by Michele Riondino, whose music opens new possibilities beyond the restrictive future laid out for her. The film premiered in the Special Presentations section of the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and later won the Audience Award for Best International Feature at the Chicago International Film Festival.
