Psycho II: Efter 22 år släpps Norman Bates ut från mentalsjukhuset och återvänder till Bates Motel. Uppföljare i regi av Richard Franklin (Road Games) med manus av Tom Holland (Den onda dockan). Tarantino är ett stort fan av filmen och anser den vara bättre än originalet.

Psycho III: Norman Bates återvänder en sista gång till Bates Motel, där han bokstavligen har ett skelett i garderoben. Anthony Perkins har själv regisserat del tre och fick mycket beröm. Manus av Charles Edward Pogue som skrev Cronenbergs Flugan.

Psycgo IV: The Beginning: Prequel till Psycho där vi får uppleva Norman Bates skrämmande uppväxt. Unge Bates spelas av Henry Thomas (Elliott i E.T.), för regin svarar Mike Garris (flertal Stephen King-filmer) och för manuset ansvarar ingen mindre än Joseph Stefano, som skrev Hitchcocks originalfilm. Både Anthony Perkins och Stephen King har sagt att detta är deras favorit bland uppföljarna.
