Directed by Sylvester Stallone, Rambo stars Stallone as John Rambo, living in Thailand before being drawn into a rescue mission in war-torn Burma. Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden and Graham McTavish co-star in a violent military action film involving missionaries, mercenaries, jungle warfare and a brutal campaign against a military regime. The film continues the Rambo series with a darker, more graphic return to one-man-army war action.
