Rogue Hostage (2021), directed by Jon Keeyes, is an action thriller starring Tyrese Gibson as a former Marine caught in a violent hostage situation during a robbery at a convenience store. With John Malkovich as the unpredictable antagonist, the film blends contained-location tension with bursts of tactical action, focusing on survival, negotiation, and escalation rather than spectacle.
