Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Scream (2022) returns to Woodsboro as a new Ghostface killer targets a group of teenagers connected to the towns past. Blending legacy characters with a new generation, the film continues the franchises self-aware slasher formula while commenting on modern horror trends and requel culture.
