Directed by and starring Burt Reynolds, Sharkys Machine follows Atlanta police detective Tom Sharky, who is transferred to the vice squad after a narcotics operation goes wrong. An investigation into a prostitution ring leads Sharky and his team toward organized crime, political connections and a violent killer, while surveillance of call girl Dominoe draws him deeper into the case. Based on William Diehls book, the film combines police investigation, urban crime and thriller tension.
