Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991) is a high-energy action film set in Los Angeles, where two mismatched police officers take on a violent Yakuza crime syndicate. Blending martial arts combat with gunplay, the film emphasizes physical confrontation, stylized violence, and culture-clash dynamics over investigation or suspense. Its tone is pulpy and direct, rooted firmly in early-1990s action cinema.
