Directed by Arthur Hiller, Silver Streak stars Gene Wilder as a book editor who becomes caught up in murder, danger and romance during a train journey from Los Angeles to Chicago. Jill Clayburgh, Richard Pryor and Patrick McGoohan co-star in a 1970s comedy thriller built around a cross-country train, a murder mystery and escalating Hitchcock-style suspense. The film marks the first screen pairing of Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor and combines crime, comedy, romance and train-set thriller elements.

Från IMDB:
On a long-distance train trip, a man finds romance--but also finds himself in danger of being killed, or at least pushed off the train.
