Sin City (2005)
Directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, Sin City adapts Millers graphic novels into a stylized neo-noir anthology set in the corrupt streets of Basin City. The film blends intersecting stories of vengeance, survival, and moral decay, told through high-contrast visuals and heightened comic-book aesthetics. Its mix of pulpy narration, striking monochrome imagery, and hard-edged characters created a distinctive modern noir experience.

Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For (2014)
Directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For returns to Basin City with new and expanded tales of betrayal, obsession, and retribution. The film blends prequel and sequel narratives, using the same stylized visual language to deepen character backstories and introduce new noir antiheroes. Its combination of graphic-novel structure and atmospheric violence preserves the anthologys dark, expressionistic tone.
