Directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci, Sleepy Hollow reimagines Washington Irvings classic gothic tale through supernatural horror, murder mystery and dark fantasy atmosphere. Set in a fog-covered 18th-century village, the film follows investigator Ichabod Crane as he uncovers a series of brutal decapitation murders connected to the legendary Headless Horseman. Combining gothic visuals, supernatural folklore and stylized horror imagery, the film blends Burtons dark fantasy aesthetic with period horror and mystery storytelling.
