Directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) adapts the Sega video game franchise into a live-action and CGI hybrid film. The story follows the super-fast blue hedgehog as he teams up with a small-town sheriff while being pursued by the scientist Dr. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey. The film launched a new cinematic franchise based on the long-running video game series.
