Directed by Robert Morgan, Stopmotion stars Aisling Franciosi as Ella Blake, an animator struggling to escape the influence of her domineering mother and establish her own creative identity. As Ella becomes obsessed with a macabre new stop-motion project, the boundaries between her film, her trauma and reality begin to collapse. Combining psychological horror, body horror and disturbing handcrafted animation, the film turns the creative process itself into a source of terror.
