Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in this supernatural horror sequel directed by Michael Chaves. In 1980s Connecticut, the pair come to the aid of Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor), a young man who claims to have been possessed by a demonic spirit and is accused of murdering his landlord. Believing the Johnson family was cursed by a witch, the Warrens are tested to their limits as they set out to prove their theory while attempting to convince the court of Arne's innocence.
