The Court Jester (1955), directed by Melvin Frank and Norman Panama, stars Danny Kaye in a medieval musical comedy that parodies swashbuckler adventures and royal intrigue. Featuring Basil Rathbone and Angela Lansbury, the film blends swordplay, romance, and wordplay in a stylized medieval setting. It has become a classic example of mid-century Hollywood comedy.
