Joshua Oppenheimers The End (2024) is a daring post-apocalyptic musical that inhabits a high-luxury underground bunker after the planet has been ravaged. Featuring Tilda Swinton and Michael Shannon, the film drapes existential dread in song and ritual as a privileged family grapples with guilt, collapse and the arrival of a stranger who threatens their illusions. This bold genre-blend challenges survival cinema with operatic rhythm and moral weight.

Från IMDB:
In a luxurious bunker, a family maintains their pre-apocalyptic routines 25 years after Earths ecological disaster made the surface uninhabitable.
