The Final Master, directed by Xu Haofeng, is a stylized Chinese martial arts drama set in Republican-era Tianjin, where a Wing Chun master attempts to establish his legacy in a hostile martial arts community. As tradition, survival, and personal ambition collide, the film explores loyalty, honor, and the cost of mastering ones art. Told with restrained violence and formal rigor, it offers a grounded alternative to fantasy-driven kung fu cinema.

Från IMDB:
A Wing Chun master has to defeat 8 martial arts schools to open his own school, yet he has become a chess piece to the local power dynamics.
