A cult favorite in 80s horror, it blends exploitation thrills with Hoopers signature dread.

Arrow Video

From director Tobe Hooper, the filmmaker who revolutionised horror cinema in 1974 with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, comes The Funhouse, where amidst the carnival excitement, danger is lurking around every corner!

The carnival is in town, and Amy doesnt want to miss it, no matter what her parents say! After telling them a tall tale about going to the movies, she skives off with her friends Liz and Richie, and Buzz, her date for the night, to enjoy an evening of rides, cotton candy and of course, drugs. Things are going fine until Richie dares the group to sneak into the funhouse and spend the night, but as the carnival closes, they witness the brutal murder of the carnival fortune teller by a mask-wearing ride attendant! Trapped in the funhouse with the killer hot on their heels, will the group manage to escape? And who... or what... is hiding behind the mask?

Combining a chilling and macabre atmosphere with spectacular gory set pieces, The Funhouse is one hell of a ride!
