Directed by Eli Roth, The Green Inferno stars Lorenza Izzo as a college activist whose trip to the Amazon leads to captivity and cannibal horror. Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara and Kirby Bliss Blanton co-star in a graphic horror film inspired by Italian cannibal exploitation cinema. The film connects Eli Roths horror work with jungle-set survival, cannibal-film tradition and early-2010s American exploitation horror.
