Directed by Alejandro Agresti, The Lake House (2006) stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock in a romantic drama about two people who fall in love through letters despite living two years apart. A remake of the South Korean film Il Mare, the film uses a time-displaced mailbox to connect romance, longing and second chances. The film combines romantic drama with a light fantastical time-slip premise.
