Directed by Fred Dekker and written by Shane Black and Fred Dekker, The Monster Squad follows a group of monster-obsessed kids who become the towns only defence when Dracula gathers classic creatures for a supernatural takeover. Andre Gower, Robby Kiger, Duncan Regehr and Tom Noonan star in a 1980s horror-comedy adventure built around Dracula, Frankensteins monster, the Wolf Man, the Mummy and the Gill-man. The film combines family-friendly monster horror, kid-group adventure, cult 80s nostalgia and classic horror icons.
