Josh Boones The New Mutants (2020) brings a darker, horror-infused twist to the superhero genre. Five young mutants held in a secret facility must confront their powers and their fears as sinister visions blur the line between reality and nightmare. Blending Marvel mythology with psychological horror, its an isolated, genre-bending chapter in the X-Men universe.
