The Passenger (1975), directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, stars Jack Nicholson as a journalist who assumes the identity of a deceased man while traveling through North Africa and Europe. Co-starring Maria Schneider, the film follows his increasingly uncertain journey as political intrigue and personal dislocation intersect across multiple locations. The production is known for its international setting and Antonionis minimalist approach to identity and alienation.
