Directed by Blake Edwards, The Return of the Pink Panther is a crime comedy starring Peter Sellers as the famously inept Inspector Clouseau. When the legendary Pink Panther diamond is stolen, Clouseau is reluctantly brought back to solve the case. The film relies on physical comedy, visual gags, and escalating farce rather than plot-driven suspense. It marked a successful return to the series classic comedic formula.
